Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2, 2026
1. Who we are
SLP Generator (slpgenerator.com, the “Service”) is operated by Mateusz Mazgajski, an individual running a non-registered business activity under Polish law, al. Solidarności 68/121, 00-240 Warsaw, Poland (“we”, “us”). Contact: contact@slpgenerator.com.
These Terms form a contract between you and us. You accept them by ticking the box when you create an account or make a purchase. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.
In these Terms, a “consumer” is an individual acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession. A “business customer” is anyone else, including a therapist or practice buying for professional use.
2. The Service
The Service lets you create printable speech and language materials. Some features need an account. Free accounts have a daily generation limit; a subscription removes it and unlocks premium templates.
The materials support therapy and practice. They do not replace assessment or advice from a qualified professional.
To use the Service you need an internet connection, an up-to-date version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and software that opens PDF files. PDFs are built in your browser, so very old or low-memory devices may be slow.
We improve the Service over time and may change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you in advance by email. You may then cancel and receive a refund for the unused part of your paid period.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 to create an account. Accounts are for adults; children may use printed materials with an adult, but must not use an account themselves.
Give accurate details and keep your login secure. Each account is for one person; you are responsible for activity on it.
The account itself is free and runs until it is closed. You can delete it at any time in My account → Settings. Deleting your account cancels any subscription from the end of the current paid period and removes access to My packs, so download your packs first.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record (Stripe Managed Payments). Stripe sells you the subscription or pack, collects the payment, charges any sales tax, VAT or GST, and issues your receipt. Stripe’s terms for buyers also apply to the payment. We provide the Service and the materials.
Prices shown include all applicable taxes.
For questions about a charge, receipt or tax, you can contact us or Stripe support through the link in your receipt. Refunds follow section 6, whichever of us you contact.
5. Subscriptions
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions are billed in advance for the billing period you choose at checkout (for example monthly or yearly). They renew automatically at the end of each period, and the payment method you used is charged the price then in force, until you cancel. Before you subscribe, the checkout shows the price, the billing period, that the subscription renews automatically, and how to cancel.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time online in My account → Manage billing. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for and are not charged again.
Reminders. For yearly plans we email you a reminder 15 to 45 days before each renewal, with the price and how to cancel.
Trials and offers. If we offer a free or discounted trial, the sign-up page states how long it lasts, what you will pay after it ends and how to cancel. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices for valid reasons: changes in our costs of running the Service (such as hosting, licences or payment fees), changes in taxes or law, inflation, or new features. We will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you. It applies from your first renewal after that notice period. If you do not accept it, cancel before that renewal and you will not be charged the new price.
6. Refunds and cancellation rights
If something is faulty. If the Service or a pack does not work or is not as described, contact us. We will fix it, replace it or give you a refund, in line with your rights under the law of your country. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and your rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Consumers in the UK and the EU – subscriptions. You have a statutory right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days of buying it. At checkout you ask for the subscription to start immediately. If you cancel within the 14 days, you get a refund reduced by a proportionate amount for the period up to the day you told us you were cancelling. To cancel, send us a clear statement by email or through the link in your Stripe receipt.
Consumers in the UK and the EU – packs. A pack is digital content supplied immediately. At checkout you expressly agree to get access straight away and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once the download is available. We confirm this in your order confirmation email. Section 6 “If something is faulty” still applies.
Customers in other countries and business customers. The laws of the United States, Canada and Australia generally give no right to cancel an online purchase because you changed your mind, and business customers have no statutory cancellation right. Payments are therefore non-refundable, except as described in these Terms or where the law requires a refund.
Effect of a refund. A refund ends the subscription or removes the pack from My packs immediately, and your licence to use materials created under that subscription or that pack ends. We may refuse further purchases where refunds are requested repeatedly.
7. Ready-made packs
Packs in the Shop are digital content sold for a one-time price through Stripe (see section 4). After payment the pack is added to My account → My packs, where you can download it as often as you like while your account and the Service exist. The PDF is built in your browser when you download it.
A PDF you have downloaded stays yours to use under section 8, even if the Service later closes. We recommend keeping a copy of every pack you buy.
A pack is licensed to you for use with your own clients, students or children. You may not share, resell or publish the pack or its pages.
8. Using the materials
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to print and use the materials you create and the packs you buy for your own therapy, teaching or home practice, including with your clients, students and children.
You may not:
- sell, publish, share or redistribute the materials, including on marketplaces, file-sharing or social media sites;
- extract the illustrations or use them outside the materials;
- use the materials or illustrations to train or improve AI models.
Materials you downloaded while your account or subscription was active may still be used under this licence after it ends. The licence ends only if you receive a refund (section 6) or if we close your account because you seriously breached these Terms (section 10).
The illustrations, templates and the Service remain our property or that of our licensors.
9. Acceptable use
You must not:
- scrape the Service or download materials in bulk by automated means;
- try to bypass limits, payment or security, or reverse engineer the Service;
- share your account or login with others;
- send us or upload anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
Content you send us. If you send us content, such as word suggestions or feedback, you confirm you have the right to do so. You grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual and transferable licence, with the right to sublicense, to use it in the Service. The licence covers: recording and copying it by any technique, including digital; adapting it and creating derivative works; including it in the Service and in materials generated by it; and distributing it and making it available to the public online. To the extent the law allows, you agree not to exercise moral rights against these uses.
10. Suspension and termination
For a breach. If you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, we may suspend or close your account. We will first email you the reason and give you at least 7 days to put things right. We may act without notice where needed to stop fraud, unlawful activity or a security threat.
For other reasons. We may close a free account with 30 days’ notice by email. If we close an account for reasons other than your breach, we refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.
Closing the Service. If we decide to close the Service, we will give at least 60 days’ notice by email so you can download your packs, and refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with the Service or a pack, email contact@slpgenerator.com with your account email, a description of the problem and what you would like us to do. We will reply within 14 days. Complaints about a charge, receipt or tax can also be sent to Stripe through the link in your receipt. Making a complaint does not affect your statutory rights.
12. Our liability
For everyone. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or your statutory consumer rights.
If you are a consumer. We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for loss of business, profit or opportunity.
If you are a business customer. The Service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Warranty disclaimer. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THIS DISCLAIMER DOES NOT AFFECT RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER THE LAW OF YOUR COUNTRY, INCLUDING CONSUMER GUARANTEES UNDER THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW AND YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE UK CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT 2015.
13. Governing law and courts
These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
If you are a consumer, you may bring claims in the courts of the country where you live or in Poland. If you live in the United States, disputes are resolved under section 14 unless you opt out of it. Disputes with business customers outside the United States are decided exclusively by the courts in Warsaw, Poland.
14. Disputes with US residents: arbitration
THIS SECTION APPLIES IF YOU LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES. IT AFFECTS HOW DISPUTES ARE RESOLVED AND WAIVES YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO TAKE PART IN A CLASS ACTION.
Try to resolve it first. Before starting arbitration or a small claims case, email us a description of the dispute and what you want. We both agree to try in good faith to resolve it within 60 days.
Binding individual arbitration. Any dispute not resolved that way will be decided by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (or, for business customers, its Commercial Arbitration Rules). Hearings will take place by video or in writing, unless the arbitrator decides that an in-person hearing is needed in the county where you live. Fees are paid as those rules provide. This section is governed by the US Federal Arbitration Act.
Small claims. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in a small claims court in the county where you live, if the claim qualifies.
No class actions. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will be decided by a court, not in arbitration.
Opting out. You may opt out of this section by emailing contact@slpgenerator.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. If you opt out, disputes go to court under section 13.
If any part of this section is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for valid reasons: changes in law or regulatory guidance, changes to the Service or our payment providers, preventing misuse or security risks, or making the Terms clearer.
We will email you at least 30 days before a material change applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription or delete your account before the change applies. If a change is materially to your disadvantage and you cancel for that reason, we refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription. Minor changes that do not affect your rights, such as corrections, may apply immediately.
16. General
These Terms, our Privacy Policy and, for payments, Stripe’s terms for buyers are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. We send notices to the email address on your account.
We may transfer this contract to another person or company that takes over the Service, for example a company we set up to run it. Your rights under these Terms will not be reduced as a result. You may not transfer your account or licence.
If a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we can still enforce it later.
